Hi, my name is Julia. For the past 10 years or so, I’ve been plagued with insomnia. I’ve spend my fair share of nights staring at the ceiling and wondering why the heck wasn’t I sleepy. OMG, do I really have to get up in two hours?
Through sheer necessity (and peace in my household) I learned how to manage my sleeplessness. Having insomnia doesn’t run my life, I do.
In fact, I’ve become so interested in the science of sleep and why some of us can’t seem to get enough of it. I started I Dream of Sleep to help other sleep better, and ultimately became a certified sleep science coach. I’m committed to helping others get the sleep they need so they can sleep, dream big, wake up feeling amazing, and live life the the fullest each and every day.
I like to share when I come across home sleep remedies that really work for me. I’ve had great success with using essential oils to help insomnia, so much so I wrote The Insomniac’s Essential Oil Guidebook.
